ALUMNI HOMECOMING II

Mapa Faith, Hope, Charity o Liberty ka man, welcome ka dito.---this was my text message to my classmates to convince them to join the reunion. I know everybody's busy with school, work and family but having this activity once a year is great to bring us back together. High School reunion is always fun because you can act the way you wanted to just like before, when you were just teens :)

They were all busy posing for the picture taking while I was also busy presenting our batch. Why was I assigned to speak in the first place? hmm... confused.

My bestie Jo-an. She's a registered nurse like me doing a charity work in a certain provincial hospital. Can't be like her. Can't afford to work all day without compensation.

The ever funny and confidential (kuno) Trip to Jerusalem game that I was challenged to join. I hate to be mentioned in the mic so I just play the game, though I didn't win. Ma'am Rendon had the great effort to win so Ma'am, congrats!

Class 2008 with Ma'am Bedia, our academic coordinator and ever ever  great Mathematics teacher :)

And I don't mind if I was the only one in our batch wearing shorts cause it was incredibly hot in the  venue.  Thanks to my wise decision. I was comfortable all day.

Had some drinks at the City pero sila lang. I don't drink beer I just had soda. Kasi minor pa ako. Echos ;)

tubig lang sa akin

It was a great experience to be with this crazy people again after five years. Hoping for a funnier, crazier reunion next year. Thanks for reading. :)

ALUMNI HOMECOMING I

Last May 5, 2013 we attended in the Alumni Homecoming to show people that we're successful enough to showcase our achievements. harhar

Actually, the first time I heard that we'll be having an alumni homecoming I wasn't interested to attend. First, I don't think I'm successful enough that I've reach THEIR expectations. Second, I'm so busy with LOTTTTSSS of work every week and I only got few time to rest. But suddenly, Thea sent me a message saying " we're you the student council president in our time?". I didn't text back. At the back of my mind I answered "no. pero echos lang. So what if I was the president?". And then she sent another message "I ask Ma'am yesterday regarding the homecoming. She told me I should talk with the batch president so what's your plan?"

Whoa!!!!Aw ok. So since I'm the batch president, I should do something. And she's implicitly saying I must organize our batch for the coming reunion. And so, despite my busy sched I made time to schedule a meeting held at Magsaysay Park in Tacurong City.

I was so thankful that my effort was rewarded cause many attended the meeting or else I will immediately forget these people I shared my youthful days with.

my bff gem, an engineering student at GSC!

The meeting was successful and praise God we've come up with something.

Thank you classmates for your ever loving effort to attend. I had a great time with you.

Tnx for reading :)

I LOVE HIGH SCHOOL

I had a wonderful and surreal experience yesterday with my high school classmates. It was a fun experience to be with them after the five long years :)

I want to share with you

THE TOP 5 REASONS WHY I LOVE HIGH SCHOOL
1. LESS PRESSURE
> High school life serves as my discovery years full of adventures and excitement. The time to adjust between childhood and adulthood, to act mature or to remain childllike. In our time we still play Larong Pinoy such as sipa, luksong tinik and tumbang preso.

We had ample time both for study and leisure. Our day was always full. We play in the morning and review in the afternoon for the Mathematics Olympics. Teachers get mad when we lazily sit on the floor and play jackstone . It so gross but we enjoyed it. We enjoyed our adolescent years for we know that even adults get mad at the end of the day they would understand that we're still in the adjustment stage.

2. ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES WERE AWESOME
> I remember our biology class when we used to catch frogs for our experiment. We also memorized  the parts of the microscope and the name of the scientist who discovered it.

English festival was also great. We've worn our best executive suit for the news casting competition and best Old English inspired dress for the stage play.

3. INTRAMURALS IS ALWAYS EXCITING
>Sports! I'm so not into sports. I tried softball but then i got injured. I tried table tennis, for me it's quite boring and makes me a more lousy athlete. I played volleyball, I was not good at teamwork. I played badminton, can't afford that damned racket. ('coz we have to provide our own. oh! public school!). I was already happy watching my friends hit the balls while waiting for  break time to give them refreshments. Water girl ang peg ng ate mo. lol

4. STUDENT COUNCIL AND SCHOOL PUBLICATION WAS MESS
> Yes it was but I'm still happy that I became part of them as the president of the student council and the editor-in-chief of the school publication. Some say "Whooaaaat? You made it?" Yes, I made it though I wasn't that great and it's the reason why it turned out a mess.I actually attended the National Leadership Training for the Student Government Officers and the National Schools Press Conference  but I guess i didn't meet my expectations to myself. But anyways, it honed me to become confident and courageous enough to take another journey in college though I did no longer actively participated in the student council 'coz I end up at  IMPULSE the debating team of the College of Health Sciences. :)

5. HIGH SCHOOL CRUSH WAS CRAZY
>The feeling that when you see even the shoelace of your crush you go crazy and unconsciously do some harlem shake because you get sooo kilig.lol  I get lost every time I see him but I was glad we became friends later when I  get back to reality and compose myself. :)

Year 2020: Year of Closure and New Beginnings

Yup. I decided to resign. I felt that, I will only be 28 once and at this age, I should have found my lifetime partner already. Getting preg...
