COFFEE BREAK
Due to brownout in our place, we spent time in Dunkin Donut to drink some coffee and wait for the electricity to return. Sad but true. Everyday in Mindanao we celebrate Earth Hour against our will. Hope the government could do something to solve our electricity problem.

COME WHAT MAY
This morning I read from FB that the yearbook/photo catalogue of nursing scholars from DEEP was launched and I got a preview of it. To my surprise students were wearing their usual white uniform and I couldn't remember if I ever passed one picture of mine wearing my white uniform. Feeling ko puros informal iyong ipinasa kong pictures. I wasn't even able to submit my graduation picture because we graduated late, April 12 so the grad pic were also taken and released late. Haissst, I was so afraid I look so funny with my pictures. Sana nagnakaw na lang yong mga editors ng picture sa FB ko. huhu. I really do not know what or how do I look like in the yearbook because I haven't seen my photos. I didn't attend the launching because it was held in Manila and I do not have vacant time to be there I don't have a budget for the plane ticket too. *sad.
As far as I could remember I wasn't satisfied with the essay I sent. Haisst so stressed. Hope they edited my essay. I wasn't really in the mood when I wrote it and I just sent it coz I no longer have enough time. So busy in college. I just hope and pray I didn't look stupid in my page. Lol. kasi naman I didn't expect that it would be that bongga! I was just a simple nobody in my college years and I don't have much idea what's happening outside my shell. haha. It was late when I realized I made some awful decisions and behaviors before. So immature.
But those days were already part of my colorful past and I must not regret. I just hope and pray that things I'm afraid of will turn out right.

in the kind of work we have, sometimes we forget to have some beauty moments. so for all the busy working ladies out there, find some time to pamper yourself. trust me it's rewarding!

PROMDI: Fruits
PROMDI is a pinoy slang that means "from the province". If granted a luxury of time I would like to tell you more stories about the life in the province so I hope you'll check them out. :)
This is a mango tree from my uncle's farm. It tastes sweet when ripe but if you're a typical pinoy for sure you'll love eating them even if it's not yet color yellow. Just pair it with bagoong mixed with spicy vinegar (or sinamakan)...nom nom. solved! :)
Saging and Pakwan. I love this banana when cooked in boiled water (lung-agon in Visaya or tanukon in Ilonggo) and dipped in bagoong ( the gray one ung may dilis). I love this pakwan when chilled because its sweetest taste truly comes out.
Want more Pakwan?
If you're sitting beside all these and you're allowed to eat each of them as long as you can, for sure you'll never think of rice anymore. You'll feel so full even with a slice of it. !
Happy summer everyone. What's your favorite fruit?

IN MEMORIAM
Nobody wants to be sad, nobody wants to mourn, nobody wants to cry but when time comes that a love one passed a way having these emotions is inevitable.
April 1, 2013, when my lola died at around 7 pm. She lived 94 wonderful years with her family, us. When I heard the news I offered a heartfelt prayer that may she live peacefully with the Lord and my Lolo who already passed away 16 years ago. While in deep sadness we also thank that Lola already took rest because we've been seeing her bedridden for many years due to cardiovascular disease that caused paralysis of the left side of her body. So long that lola is in deep pain cause she cannot move well. All we can do is to feed her, dress her, pray for her and give all the comfort and love we could. I was happy that in one way or another I was able to make her feel my love for her by being her personal nurse ina short time. Hope that she's now happy in heaven.

We can never tell our time in this world that is why we should live each day as if it's our last so when the time comes that the Lord will take back our life we can say that we're ready to be with Him for we have lived our life to the fullest. To all of you who still have grandparents alive, cherish your time with them and take every opportunity when you can learn from them.

the other day i was so tired eating watermelon from my cousin's farm so i went into our guava tree together with my nephew who seldom went to the farm to pick some fruit. it's so funny seeing him like this. hope when he grow old and see this pic he would find it cute that i took a photo of him with this look (lol) :)
the lighting was from the natural rays of the sun.
