Tour Manila 2014

We rarely tour Manila since plane tickets are so expensive and the cost of living in the Metro is also expensive. Hence, when there's an opportunity, we grab it with both hands! <3 <3

First stop, ang pinaka sikat na bahay sa Pilipinas Bahay ni Kuya- Pinoy Big Brother House

We also went to ELJ Building and Abs-Cbn Stores to buy some souvenir. The great thing was... we saw the beautiful na na na Nadine Lustre. :)

Then we ent to SM Aura where we saw  Marc Nelson!!!!The one who swept me off my feet. <3 I'm not a big fan. I'm a huge fan by him but I got no courage to take picture with him though he seem so kind to his fans.

We also went to Solaire.*insert jingle: Brighter than the sun* I so love their chandelier. So big and so grand. Hindi bagay sa bahay namin. lol.

This tall lady is so amazing. I once dreamed to be someone taller at least about 3 inches more but not someone as tall as her kasi di bagay sa akin. Mahirap maghanap ng matangkad na partner sa probinsya. Walang foreigner masyado.

I had great moments in Manila. I wanna have more. Maybe  next time.

PSE Convention 2014

As a healthcare practitioner, it is very important to have a continuing medical education to further harness your skills and knowledge in your field of work. That's why the opportunity to attend a convention shouldn't be missed. I squeezed may savings just be a part of this convention and so I am so overwhelmed and grateful.

Did you know? I have a very itchy feet. Whenever there is an opportunity to go somewhere, I sneak from the convention. We rarely go to Manila you know. Prior to the oath taking which was supposed to start at 6:00pm we went to Abs-Cbn,Quezon City via bus then we went back to the convention area at around 5:30pm via MRT and just in time the oath taking already started with the MDs raising their right hands and I went crazy. I asked someone from secretariat and then I was so grateful when she said the induction for technogists has not started yet. I was so relieved cause if I was absent in the induction I won't be a member of PSE even if I already paid the membership fee and that's crazy because it's the main reason why I attended this oh so expensive convention.

Till next year PSE. I had a great time and a great opportunity to learn :)

Intramuros 2014

Being a probinsyana for 22 years, I never experienced to live in Manila for more than a week. And the news on TV were so drastic that I said to myself :I never wanted to live in Manila! But there are good places in Manila that we can never experience in the province and one of those is ---Intramuros. The place that can remind you of the Filipino history and the place that can make you feel more Filipino sa isip, sa diwa at sa gawa. If only high school students in our place could afford to go there I would recommend this as a good place for educational tour. I never felt this patriotic but it feels great. :D

My first day in Metro M was spent in Intramuros. It's my second time to visit this "old pueblo" but this itme is more exciting than the first because my first Intramuros visit was spent by just riding the bus and I had no time to wander much. So these are the photos.

Thanks to my very good friend, a smart guy from UP Manila for accompanying us and for taking these great pictures.

San Agustin Church in Intramuros. One of the oldest churches in the Philippines. I once dreamed of having my wedding here but when I realized it would cost 30K for just reservation alone I told myself I better save more first. lol.

The famous Manila Cathedral. I really want to go inside. Sadly, it's closed.

There's always fun and learning in travel. Though it's expensive, it's worth it. Much more when you do it with people who are special to you like your friends and family. It's a good way to spend your precious time. They say travel while you can, as far as you can and as long as you can. There's a joy in it that you could bring in your journey through life.

Year 2020: Year of Closure and New Beginnings

Yup. I decided to resign. I felt that, I will only be 28 once and at this age, I should have found my lifetime partner already. Getting preg...
