Arrival

Decemeb19, 2011. I arrived at our Tacurong City at around 12:30 in the afternoon. It was a long trip indeed. The ten hours of sitting in the bus is really tiresome but I've been doing it for four years now so I’m already used to it. What’s important is that I arrived home safe and sound. Special thanks to Ian Mendoza for the company J.. hehe

             When I arrived, the sisters of Religious Virgin Mary were at home to visit our family. My elder sister is one of their aspirants that is why they visit us. I was really glad because there were foods. Haha.. I was really hungry from an almost 24 hour trip. I don’t usually eat when I travel because I’m not feeling well so every time I arrive I must eat a lot.

These were the foods they prepared:

kakanin. baye baye daw tawag dito

valenciana. malagkit na bigas na kulay yellow na nilagyan ng raisins, laman loob ng manok at pinya.

Don't know how to cook this but it tastes really good!

             I didn't put an extra effort in plating before I took the pictures because I was really hungry. Hope you still find them appetizing.. Aside from those, my mother also prepared buko juice and of course RICE! :)

            This day was really special. This is also an advance celebration of my parent’s wedding anniversary which we celebrate every December 20. We’re also complete in the family except for my brother who is working in Indonesia. He never made it to go home because his boss didn’t allow him. Nonetheless, we are still a happy family. J
