Christmas 2013

Happy New Year guys!!!! thank you all for viewing my blog. Long time no blog isn't it? My brother broke my PC and that means, I couldn't get along with you many times. However, I'm always in FB so you can still follow me there.

Due to Typhoon Yolanda affecting the people of Visayas region, our boss decided to donate the budget for the year end party to the people of Visayas and we will just join the MD Square staff in their Christmas Party. Since December 30 is the birth date of our very generous colleague, te JOY, who wanted to celebrate her birthday in the most meaningful way, we ended our year celebrating a Merry Christmas with the birthday girl and  with the children the of the St. Lawrence Kalinga Foundation, Inc.

St. Lawrence Kalinga Foundation, Inc. is funded and managed by the NGOs and the DSWD who care for the children left by their family. I've never been an orphan. I grew living a simple life with both of my parents that is why seeing these children and hearing their stories make my heart melt and make me realize that I am so blessed. There are people experiencing more pain than me and I shouldn't be complaining of the many struggles I meet each day for they are just challenges that would make me a stronger and better person.

We had parlor games, we gave them gifts, we heard them sing, we saw them dance and we enjoyed a whole lot of fun with these very energetic children.

Hope you also had a meaningful Christmas. :)
